On 23 May, Professor Clark Lawlor, from the Humanities Department at the Northumbria University Newcastle will discuss ‘Ideas of Contagion and Consumption: From Fashionable disease to ‘Plague-stricken’ Tuberculosis’. The seminar will take place on Zoom, 16–17 CET.
Focusing on ‘Contagion’ from different historical perspectives, this seminar series is part of the History of Medicine and Heath Seminars at the University of Groningen and organized under the auspices of the Groningen Centre for Health and Humanities and the Centre for Historical Studies. The organizers are Hilde Bras, Yuliya Hilevych, James Kennaway, Rina Knoeff and Catrien Santing.
